about the author

Richard Scrivener spent much of his childhood in Africa and the Far East, travelling, as an ‘army kid’, to far flung places. Memories of exotic settings, with their strange and sometimes alarming wildlife, left him with a love of the mysterious and the unknown. Wanderings through jungles and travels in canoes (with no time for school!) provided him with the world of Dinosaur Dan!
